Nepal 2024: A Journey of Growth and Shared Success

In 2024, I embarked on my 5th trip to Nepal, a place that continues to inspire me deeply. Over the years, my efforts to support communities in need have evolved into a journey of shared success. Witnessing the progress of the people and organizations I work with has been a true privilege.

This trip introduced me to new partnerships, including Engineers Without Borders and Kathmandu Don Bosco College, associated with Xavier Academy. These institutions are committed to creating lasting impact through education and innovation, and it was uplifting to meet the people driving these initiatives. Many of the students come from diverse regions of Nepal, bringing with them new ideas and dreams for the country’s future.

Returning to familiar institutions like Kings College, The Spine Centre Network, and Voice of Children (VOC) was a highlight. These organizations are not just institutions. They represent lives transformed through resilience and determination.

At the Spine Centre Network meet, I met individuals who, despite significant physical challenges, have achieved incredible milestones. One person, we have been supporting, was once wheelchair-bound now walks with crutches and is actively contributing to society. Another individual, previously paralyzed, has become a professional basketball player, an inspiring testament to the human spirit’s strength. We Will surely continue supporting this group of special individuals i have witness grow the last 5 years.

At Voice of Children, I spent time with the children, engaging in tree planting and other activities that brought joy and laughter. It’s always rewarding to see the growth and potential of these young lives, and VOC continues to be a beacon of hope and opportunity for so many.

I am grateful to the friends who always look after me during my visits, sharing the ongoing progress and stories that motivate me to keep contributing.

Although I initially funded these efforts on my own, I am thankful that others have joined in to help support the homes and those confined to wheelchairs. These individuals, despite their circumstances, deserve the best, and I’m honored to play a role in improving their lives.

As I reflect on this journey, I am filled with gratitude. The connections made, the growth witnessed, and the stories shared reinforce my belief in the power of compassion and community. Moving forward, I hope to continue this work as a shared mission with others who believe in the transformative power of giving.
